Failed to instantiate mail function was created by Hans K.

Hallo!
Diese Fehlermeldung erhalte ich wenn ich eine Nachricht über JD Simple Contact Formular absenden will.
Liegt es daran, dass ich die Joomla! Installation bislang nur lokal über xampp teste?
Geht der Fehler weg, wenn ich die Seiten dann auf den "echten" Server eines web-Hoster übertragen habe?

Hallo, wenn kein PHP mail installiert ist, geht das lokal nicht.
Online ist natürlich phpmail installiert.
