UI Kit Grid in Joomla4 on menu subpage no images was created by nfleming
Hi, I have a problem with UiKit Grid item. It is happening in Joomla 4. Today I upgraded Ultimate to 1.3.5 and Asteroid to 2.5.9. I'm not sure if the issue was occuring on the page before updating those items becuase I didn't check. I am using UiKit Grid version 1.2.1, I checked for updates but can't see any available.
The problem is that on a subpage, eg buildingworks.co.nz/residential/overview the images in UiKit are not being shown. In the example on that page, "renovations" image refers to buildingworks.co.nz/residential/images/h...width=500&height=320 (this image was reselected today, which added #joomlaImage://local-images/home/residential-500x320.jpg?width=500&height=320 to the URL. The next image for "extensions" has URL buildingworks.co.nz/residential/images/r...hangarei-500x320.jpg
Both of these URLs have "residential" in the image name. The URL of the image within UiKit Grid cannot be manually changed, it is eg images/residential/renovation-builder-whangarei-500x320.jpg . It should have leading / so that it was /images/residential/renovation-builder-whangarei-500x320.jpg and then it would work.
To test this theory, I added the "test" module, further down on the same page buildingworks.co.nz/residential/overview you can see it, with broken image.
I also set the module to show on Commercial page, and it displays there correctly buildingworks.co.nz/commercial because Commercial does not have parent name in URL.
Please can UiKit Grid be fixed, to insert leading / in image URL, and have the ability to manually edit image URL?
Thanks
Nicola

Hello,
please select the images via image selector. You cant insert an image http address, because the images must be relative to Joomla path.
Otherwise you always get an error when you move the site from local host to live server ect pp.

I did select images using image selector!
Even when I create a new module and select the images, the same problem exists, if the module is on a sub-menu page, the image does not display. If the exact same module is displayed on a parent-menu item, then the image does appear.
Please see my module with title "test" on these pages buildingworks.co.nz/residential/overview (image in UiKit grid not showing), vs buildingworks.co.nz/commercial (images in exact same module, but published on different page DO show).

Thanks for your reply.
Those Asterioid template settings were already OFF (lazy load images in template is also OFF), but I am also using JCH optimise Pro, so I looked at those settings. I noticed when I set Lazy-Load of images to OFF in JCH Optimise then those UiKit Grid images on the subpage appeared. So, I have excluded the URL of the subpage from being optimised by JCH Optimise Pro and now the images appear.
Thanks for your help with this.
Regards
Nicola
