I wanted to ask if it is somehow possible to remove the three dots after the first sentence in the article-slideshow?

I hope you know what I mean.

The best would be if this sentence would not have to be written in the article itself! like a usual slideshow but also with a link to the right article and the same design as the article slideshow. in short: a usual slideshow with the design of the article-slideshow.
But as i have seen, this is not possible, or am I wrong?

1) what i mean are the three dots after the first sentence of the article which is displayed in the picture of the slideshow.

like this:

even if the sentence is complete there are always the three dots at the end. is it possible to remove them?

2) what is a modul slider? can i get this anywhere here?

Ok, now I know what do you mean.

Therefore you have to edit the helper.php at / modules/mod_lofarticlesslideshow/helper.php // line 375
and remove the three dots:

public static function substring( $text, $length = 100, $replacer=\'...\' ){

2) hmm also thanks, but the reason why i bought the real estate template was the article slideshow. i really like the style! i only dont like to have the first sentence of the article in the picture-heading, but would prefer a separate heading which is not displayed in the article itself ..

If you dont want to show the same article as shown on the Joomla content you can do it with this trick.

1.) Create an Joomla article and input your text and image which should be shown on slider.
2.) After that you have to add a // read more // via Joomla tool
3.) After the // read more // tag you can type your regular text into the article, which should be shown on Joomla article
4.) Now you have to disable the content parameter >> SHOW Introtext = NO
