Responsive Changes using Warp

I have been trying to change some elements of the Snowflake template in Warp customizer. The video shows that the Template presents with graphics but I can only see positions. I also find that my changes are not reflected when I view the site.

Which elements did you changed in customizer and what is no working.
Please more details.

Thank you for your prompt reply. I will try and explain. When I looked at the video regarding the responsive layout, your graphic shows the template with the images in place. When I click the responsive option, I see a template with the placeholders in place, not the images.
I am trying to achieve the following changes. I need the landing page of the site to be in black, much like your "Bike " Template. I like the layout of Snowflake but want to change the colors. I can't find a reference to the body color of the template. I have found the background color and can easily change that to black, but the rest of the body remains white. I am not experienced in responsive templates and this is a step up for me and I am keen to get my head around it as soon as possible.
The reason I chose your template was because I thought it would give me the control over the various elements that I needed.
