inactive menu buttons disappear if white bg used

Hi I have a problem with the inactive menu buttons when I am using a white background as the text is white and the bg of the menu buttons is transparent.

Any suggestions ?

In the attached picture I have 2 cases.

In case No 1 I have a white bg. As you can see because the text is white and the bg of the buttons is white too nothing is displayed. Only if you move the cursor and become active it displays.

In case No 2 I have just applied the menu styles : transparent 70% and the white text is displayed.

How I can change the bg colour for the inactive in inactive buttons and how I can change the text colour too.

Please use the Firebug tool to analyze the CSS. After that copy and paste the analyzed code into your custom.css.
