[SOLVED] Login module

i've added the login module to the menu position but the login module has the following message

Module XML data not available

And which Login Module? The basic Joomla module?

i'm still not able to display the login module for my 'Life' template.
Do I need to upload any of the files again?

If you ever come across the error message “Module XML data not available”, make sure you have xml file inside your module folder in the name “mod_YOURMODULENAME.xml”.
If not, upload the "mod_login" folder of the org joomla packgae to your Joomla installation directory.

i've checked the mod_login folder, there is a tmpl sub-folder, the mod_login.xml file is within that, along with 2 php files .
Do i need to move it up a level?
