[SOLVED] Menu Module Assignment Trouble

You helped me in previous topics to successfully install JPwork so that I could replace JPDreamcars. Now I am trying to reassign the main menu from JPDreamcar Suckerfish module to JPwork Menu module. But it won't do it. it won't save it. Not knowing if Akeeba might somehow be preventing this like it prevented the JPwork installation (until you helped me with that issue), I again, turned all the Akeeba extension modules off. But it did not solve the problem. I also went through all 16 pages of extension modules and cleared the cache of them all, but that did not seem to help either. I also deleted the JPDreamcars template, but that did not help either. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you for all your great help.

Hi there, try following steps:
1.) Open the mainmenu module
2.) Change the position to > menu
3.) Save and close the mainmenu module

If it is not working, try another Browser!

I had already followed Steps 1-3. It tried another browser, but the menu still did not reassign itself to the JPwork Menu module.

I did get the menu to finally reassign itself to the Menu module by making the change manually in the database. However, it still did not display. Then, while I was in the database, I noticed that when I installed the JPwork template into my existing database that all of the tables with the prefix of jos_ were still in the database. So I deleted all of those. After I did that, the Main Menu did appear in the JPwork Menu module position.

So, this issue has been solved. Surprisingly, by me! Thank you for all your help on my behalf.
