Problem with Customizer

Hi

When I try to open the customizer I get the following error:
Unable to retrieve /templates/jp-work/less/customizer.json (Not Found)

I went through the guide was given in a previous post to correct this issue, but I get lost at the permissions part. After that I basically don't understand anything being said. I'm not very experienced with the developing side. I got as far as noticing that the permissions on configuration.php is unwritable, but my ftp wouldn't allow me to change it to 644. I contacted my hosting provider and he can't find any problems, also not very helpful to help any further.
