Off canvas is not working

I have tried several things that i found here in the formu before making my this question.
I can not get the offcanvas to work.

I did what it said here:

I also saw something about publishing something on the logo position, so i did. It is now a red square just to let it stand out.
I am not clear on what i am doing wrong. PLease help.

It is fixed.
The offcanvas wasnt´t working because of missing small logo position was not published.
A logo on module position logo-small must be published
