In IE8 the template Snowflake not respond in good mode.
For detail visit www.decoresin.com in IE8

OK with Chrome, Safari, Firefox

The Template is not compatible with IE8 with responsive view look at the description.

Anyway you can try this tool:
CSS3 selectors for IE 6-8
selectivizr is a JavaScript utility that emulates CSS3 pseudo-classes and attribute selectors in Internet Explorer 6-8. Simply include the script in your pages and selectivizr will do the rest.
