We are in the process of setting up our sport club's page with joomla and have selected the ultimate template. We do have one question though, would it be possible to make the logo module wider than the rest of the page? We have set the page to 95% in the customizer. However, we would like the logo to cover 100% of the width.

And it makes no sense to setup a webpage to 95% width.
Modern screens have a resolution ot 1920x1080 and then the sites looks not really good on these screens.

Whether the width is set to 95% or 980px ... we would like the banner at the top to be 100% wide, even on a full HD screen.

I did copy your code, after saving joomla turned it into <img src="/images/TSGSportarten/Triathlon/Headergrafiken/tri_header_01.jpg" alt="tri header 01" style="width: 100%;" /> but that did not change the way the image is displayed.
