Es kommt immer auf die Größe des Bildes an:
Hier geht es auch nicht!
Das Bild kann nicht größer angzeigt werden als das es ist!!

Ja, aber meine beiden Screenshots sind gleich groß vom gleichen Bildschirm und das Bild sollte groß genug dafür sein.

Analysieren sie ihr Bild im Firebug und sie werden sehen was ich meine.

PS: 100% Breite des Screens ist in jedem Fall ungünstig. Aber das hatte ich ja Anfangs bereits erwähnt.

Ich habe es mal mit den Chrome Dev Tools analysiert und kann keinen Unterschied finden. Ich arbeite auf einem Laptop mit einem FullH Screen, also 1920 breit. Das Bild ist im Original ebenso 1920 breit, es sollte also die komplette Breite des Bildschirms einnehmen.

in beiden Fällen sagen mir die Dev Tools das es sich um ein und dasselbe Bild handelt. Wenn ich mir den Code anschaue unterscheidet er sich nur durch die body class, einmal <body class="tm-sidebar-b-right tm-sidebars-1 tm-isblog"> und das andere <body class="tm-sidebar-a-left tm-sidebar-b-right tm-sidebars-2 tm-isblog">

Ansonsten unterscheidet sich der Code erst nach dem img und trotzdem werden die Bilder in unterschiedlicher Breit angezeigt, warum?
