I am trying difficulties with the following:
-background image not showing up even though the path is correct
-how do you apply a background image behind the google map on map position? I applied a background image in the custom html module options but it's not showing up either...?
-in your help page you say that x2 has the widgetkit slideshow enabled in the headerbar position but I don't even the headerbar in the list of available positions, do you mean slidertop?

We are using the free ( lite) Widgetkit 1 and it works.
The widgetkit2 is not working well with our theme

Ok, I'll try again with Widget Kit 1.
Can you please answer the headerbar question as well?
How did you set up the quickstart template homepage background? Because my background image is not showing up at all.

Hi there,
the background is available but not visible because you have any slider on headerbar position.
Add a custom module with this code and you can see the background of the headerbar too:
