Hi, I am trying to add an image to my articles to display on the home page.

I have managed to change the text in the title, and this displays fine, however when I insert an image (which is already saved in my Joomla media folder) using the WSYIWYG editor, it displays it in the editor, however when I save and go to my website, it does not show the image, only the title text.

I have also tried uploading the image by using the 'images and links' tab in Articles, and added the 'Intro Image' and 'Full Article Image' but still no luck.

Does the article need to be assigned to display on the home page or something?

ofc an artile must be published and assigned to a menu item to be shown.

Hi, thanks for your reply, I followed the instructions exactly in the link you provided, and have also checked out other resources online, but I still cannot get a different image to display for the intro image.

I go into Content > Articles then click on the article I want, such as Demo Article 2. It is saying it is published by the green tick at the left hand side.

I then click on the Images & Links tab and select the image I want to display for the Intro Image and Full Article Image.

To make sure it is assigned to a menu, I go into Menu > All Menu Items and then click on the Home which is where I want the article to display.

But then this is where I get stuck as I don't know what I need to do from here. If you could provide any further advice that would much appreciated sorry for all the questions.

the intro images in articles are only in Joomla Blog view avaiable and not in any single article.
