Altering h1, h2

Altering h1, h2 was created by Kristal00

We have altered the size of the variables h1, h2, etc in "theme.css" in map "styles\"(new style). After saving "theme.css" and clearing cache the alterations are not visible. The original size of the letters stays the same. Where or how can we make these changes to h1 etc.?

Hi there,
please use the customizer > Advanced > Base > See image attached
BTW Never edit the theme.css because this css file will be overwritten
