Ich habe es nun lösen können, indem der Script verändert werden musste. Jetzt passen sich Grafik und Text an die unterschiedliche Bildschrimgrößen an und es wird nichts mehr abgeschnitten.

Der Overlay-Script von UIKit ist so - wie er angeboten wird - unbrauchbar.
