Hallo, vielen Dank für den Tipp.

Woran es bei mir gelegen hat, keine Ahnung - ist jetzt auch müßig darüber Zeit zu verschwenden.

Ich habe mittlerweile einen neuen Ordner angelegt habe, eine „frische“ Joomla-Version installiert. Nach abgeschlossener Installation des Templates GOLF installiert. Der Customizer ließ sich ohne Probleme bearbeiten.
