Hello,
i am new to JoomlaPlates and thought about using one of the Joomla 4 templates adapting it for a client.
I am reading this topic now and i am a bit confused if Astroid will have a future?
Would you recommend not to use it in production right now?
Well but once created the template, not too many changes should follow towards the design part...
Thank you for your options.

First: Before you update create a backup!

You can find the latest astroid-framework (today: 2..5.15) here:

github.com/templaza/Astroid-Framework

And don't forget the language-file:

github.com/templaza/astroid-framework/tree/language

And write every change of the template in the custom.css of the template.

They will not overwritten with the next template-update.

Thanks to your reply.
I already installed the newest version 2.5.15 and can handle it really nicely.
So, if i create my website now with astroid and a template with joomlaplates,
can i be somehow "secure" that my template will work for the next years?
Could i do a new import of the design (json) after a new astroid backup or will me
design not be affected by that?
Thanks in advance. Ruth

Hi to all.
I will shortly start using a JoomlaPlates template for my to Joomla 4 migrated website.
Will Astroid remain as the stable framework for the Joomla 4 templates?
We were very happy with WARP but unfortunetly it doesn`t work on PHP 8 anymore.
I know it is hard to make any suggestions but it would be hard to start developing with ASTROID and with another upgrade of PHP, the website won`t work anymore..
