Upgrading to Joomla 4 was created by dlong

I have the JP_Maximum Joomla 3 template and it has served my organization well for a number of years. I am needing to upgrade to Joomla 4, but am unclear on how that happens, whether I would lose all my image files, etc. My webhost can always restore the web site from a backup, but I want to consider doing a clean installation. Any pointers pre-sale appreciated.

Menu links, posts, categories as well as the data in the media folder are all carried over to Joomla 4. The Warp JP-Template must be replaced by a new TP-Template with Astroid Framework from Joomlaplates. All Roksprocket modules are no longer suitable for Joomla 4 and must be replaced with our UIKIT3 plugins.
Kind regards,
